Picture-heavy post
Well, while I was down at my folks' I took pictures of their super awesome kitchen.

This is the right hand side of the kitchen where my mom keeps all her dishes, and the broom closet for that sort of thing. They have an ultra-quiet dishwasher, too.

The view from the window over the sink. You can see our hangar and windsock (barely) and the little building up on the hill to the left is the closest neighbor.

And the middle, to the left of the kitchen sink-- this is where they keep all the appliances, canisters, spices, and staples. The cookie jar collection is on top of the cabinets.

Here's my dad peeling veggies for dinner; little baby loaves of bread on the countertop; the smooth top range in the back, and over to the left you can see the fridge (freezer on bottom) and the double oven.

Lots of people rurally have collections of telephone pole insulators. My folks decided the best place to display theirs... was on a telephone pole that they found down the creek abandoned.
I'm sure this says a lot about me. And them.
