Room-cleaning report
I slept yesterday from 3pm to 4am.
I have, at last count, 16 boxes at the foot of my bed, large and small (the largest ones are 30-gallon Rubbermaid tubs) remaining to be unpacked and sorted through.
I just did two boxes. The second was papers from high school, things my friends then gave me, and my wedding album.
I'm beat. I'm not physically tired, but I'm emotionally worn out now. I'll try to do two more boxes later.
If I work hard, I might be able to get this done in two or three Thursdays, assuming I had nothing else to do...
In the meantime, I have gutters that need to be cleaned on the house, kitchen planning, taxes to finalize, print, and send in, and that doesn't count all the repetitive chores (cooking, shopping, laundry) or doing anything fun for myself.
At least I have two bags full of stuff to drag downstairs and throw away (30 gallon bags) plus in a few minutes the catbox will get cleaned. I may even put on a decent shirt and go out to eat in a bit.
