What do you get when you cross a green dragonscale from World of Warcraft(Green Dragonscale) with a hat?

The front view:

The dramatic lighting view, a.k.a. "where Corr forgets that the yard is lighter":
a dimmer view of the hat

And the back view, highlighting the ponytail loop:
the back of the hat

Notes on creation:
Yarn: Cascade 220, The Heathers, green.
Needles: Size 5 12" circular, four size 5 DPNs and a size 3 DPN (it's all I had)
Pattern:
Stitch pattern modified from the Dragon Scale Gauntlet which is apparently from something else somewhere.
Modification is as follows: change the columns of two knit stitches between the make-ones, to columns of one knit stitch. Repeat is then 12, not 13.

I-cord ponytail loop with provisional caston, 6 stitches wide. Bottom of hat is 96 stitches, with 6 stitches between the two ends of the i-cord. 4 rows moss stitch, then 2 12-row repeats of the modified dragon scale pattern.

Top is a further modified pattern with the make-ones removed completely, so it decreases 16 every other row, and then...uh, made up as I went along. Ta-da.
