I need a bitching icon.
Wishing people "Happy Father's Day" as a greeting, when YOU are a father and THEY are not is:
A. Crass, especially when said to a woman (or some other sort of person who's very obviously not a father), because it's praise-begging;
B. Taunting, when said to men who have been separated from their children's lives;
C. Cruel, MOST especially when said to those who long desperately for children, or who have lost their children, or to those who recently lost their fathers;
D. All of the fuckin' above.
"Hi there! ...I'm having a great Father's Day" is barely acceptable; wishing ME one in order to get your little pat on the head for operating your testes-- is not.
