Well, with my night off, I've just dumped about 140 teabags in my huge stock pot. I'm bringing it to a boil and then after it's gone a while, I'll pull out the teabags and put in the yarn.
Tying yarn that you've already wound into a ball back into loose skeins is...a pain. Note to self, don't wind it next time beforehand.
I've decided on 140 teabags, which should give me something of a medium tan, plus 2 packages of grape Flavor-Aid (recommended for strong colors is 1 packet per oz of yarn, which would be 7).
I'll take pics as I go.
