So, I dragged out the sewing machine, and some of the material I bought (yay, 1.77/yd x 60% off) and ripped a piece about a yard square or a little bigger, and hemmed it, and now I have a new headscarf.
It's some weirdly floral pattern of brown, yellow, and blue, which is about twice as hideous as that sounds, but actually looks okay.
I am also mounging on some York mints-- they're mint-covered dark chocolate, but mostly I bought them because they were in a neat metal tin and were a quarter. Metal tin for a quarter, AND it has a bonus of mints one might or might not like--sold!
Most fun you can have for under $2, I tell ya.
