Well, despite anticipating a metric buttload of work, I got here to find that one of my lovely co-workers had done the majority of it, leaving me only from 1-4am of solid grinding to get it done.
I've spent the last hour working on my knitting and... wait for it...
Thinking about what I want to knit next. It's a SICKNESS I tell you. SICKNESS!
I saw the cutest little scarf with small holes knitting in down the centerline, so that you could tug one end of the scarf through the hole and secure it. It was really artsy-trendy, and I kind of want to make one now. Of course, the instruction book is out of print, so all I have is the picture and an idea of how to bind off and cast on to make the silly thing.
I am SO GLAD I took that knitting class. That was the best birthday present I ever got, except maybe the one on my 18th birthday (the one from J.J. and Jim, for which I will be eternally grateful).
And for those keeping score at home-- today I am 31. And it feels pretty damn good!
