Remember that yellow sweater?

The crocheted one that was so warm that I couldn't even try it on long enough to take decent pictures, because I broke out in a sweat?

I'm wearing it right now and it's VERY NICE.

I'm occasionally smart! (more cold stuff)

It's 63 in the living room, and about 5-10 degrees colder than that in the bedrooms. To make things more concrete, the Raven actually took a second comforter to bed, and when I went in to put the down throw over the kiddo, not even her nose was poking out.

I discovered a lovely cold air draft in the living room, from the gap where the patio door closes. So, I've stuffed it full of quilt batting, using a pair of blunt-point scissors. We'll see if that actually results in a temperature rise.

The cats are taking note of the temperature differential, and are parked on the very top of the couch, curled up into little kitty-balls.

Beans are soaking for lunch, and I'll put them on to cook about 9:30. Might head out and get a third heater once the roads de-slick a bit.
