Insult, injury, film at 11. (AIM Screenname Update)

Why, thank you, AOL, former employer and bane of my existence.

"Screen Names that were previously used on AOL but have been cancelled or suspended, can no longer be used on AIM. This includes both master accounts and sub-accounts. In order to continue using this Screen Name on AIM, please reactivate the account on AOL."

The AIM screenname NhinxAphsion was, sadly, on an AOL account that has been cancelled. Thus, I can no longer use it. I also, like a damnfool, don't seem to have saved a current copy of my buddylist anywheres. I may need to be reminded of screennames.

Day off!

Well, my folks came up and we had lunch and went shopping, partly in a quest to find something for my mom to re-cover a pillow with. I spent probably half an hour looking at shoes and found absolutely nothing my size-- except a pair of sea-green Converse All-Stars (laceup hightop sneakers) with pink trim and pink insides.

They were $8.99, and I bought them.

I got home to discover that-- good news, they're making the downstairs apartment habitable again so that we can get neighbors who will heat the place in the winter (which lowers our heating bills).

The bad news? This involves JACKHAMMERING UP THE DAMN FLOOR FOR TWO DAYS TO FIX A SEWER BREAK.

I'm tired, but for obvious reasons, I may have trouble sleeping right now. I'm going to try, and probably not wake up til 1AM or something. I'll leave AIM on for messages and stuff and things.
