day off, hooray!
Apr. 26th, 2007 06:32 amToday I have the whole day off and to myself to do whatever I please.
So, on the agenda:
1. Get out the sewing machine later in the morning, when folks are awake, and steek/sew the snaps on the baby sweater.
2. Work some on the Gloriously Purple Vest (I bought 374 yards of a variegated purple yarn and think it would make a lovely vest. I haven't even cast on yet; it may turn into socks yet.)
3. Go to Braum's and soothe my cookie craving, and buy stuff for stew for dinner, and milk, and cheese, and the stuff they do so well. (Done. Made sausage-and-beef meatballs that may or may not stay together. They're in the crock pot now.)
4. Play some WoW, working on my in-game cooking and blacksmithing and make some money while I'm at it. (It just feels weird to do all that cooking in-game while I'm hungry. One time in EQ I was making Misty Thicket Picnics, probably the most complicated item in the game, while eating mac and cheese with my other hand.)
5. Possibly, while the sewing machine is out, whip together the green rayon skirt that I want.
Today I'm wearing black shoes and socks, a black skirt, white shirt, and a gloriously mauve-ish fringed scarf. I should feel glamorous, but I actually feel rather like the White Queen.
Oh, and look, there's an online Through the Looking Glass if you happen not to have a copy handy...
