I made the apartment manager cry.

For those of you following the saga of the air conditioner that isn't fixed, it still isn't.

Seems that there are just no repair people to be located anywhere. I find that believable, as I answer for several and they're all booked up for the next week to ten days.

I think our management has been responsive and generous in loaning us fans and a portable air conditioner, so this morning I went to the grocery store and picked up a cheap styrofoam chest, some ice, and filled it with ice cream bars, frozen yogurt, and drinks, then took it to the office as a thank-you for the staff.

I got a hug from the manager and "I wish all our tenants were like you!"

I slept for nine hours just now. I think things are improving.
