Hooray, Thursday!
Nov. 15th, 2007 07:22 amPlans for today:
Clean off my desk (the usual Thursday chore), including doing something with the shoes under it
Do the catbox
Go to the store and buy five or six more of those stacking wire baskets for my desk
Sort the remainder of my yarn stash into the baskets
Plan dinner--
I'm thinking about maybe a roasted chicken, and I found an interesting recipe for Vanilla mashed sweet potatoes... but I'm also hoping to find something I can cook up and have for lunch this week at work.
Play some WoW--
I have a few quests to do and leatherworking to work on, so there's plenty on the plate. Also, I picked up a sweater I was knitting late last year and finally started work on it again, and have about 3" knitted already. After a week or two working on size 5 needles, size 10's seem HUGE. I'll start the waist shaping soonish (in another round or two).
I did finish the knitted lunchbag I wanted, and it exactly holds two of the plastic "entree" boxes I have. Hooray! I also finished a knitted oven mitt, which is wider than I wanted but the correct length (and the afterthought thumb, where I knitted in a strand of white, then removed it, picked up the stitches on DPNs, and knitted a thumb, went swimmingly).
I felted my brown yarn bag again and it shrank a little more, and the same for my little tiny wrist-strap "holds a ball of yarn and half a sock" yarn holder.
