What I got for my birthday!

I got some new mid-calf navy blue leather boots from my mom.
I got one of my mom's old pots that is the size I wanted, so I don't have to buy one.
I got a folding sewing/knitting organizer from my grandmother, like the ones I'd been looking at and wanting, but not enough to pay $20 for.

I got some money from my dad and my mom's parents. So I got to pick out my own presents:

Little two-shelf organizer that I want to use for a nightstand (instead of the cardboard box I have now)

Some stuff for baking:
Silicone muffin cups, much easier to store than a full pan (you can stand them alone on the baking sheet)
Bromated (bread) flour and a canister for it
Dry buttermilk
Spices (dillweed and coriander seed and REAL VANILLA extract)
Raisins

I want to try some rye bread this morning, but in addition I want to make a sweet-ish corn muffin with raisins and spices, which I know will come out okay.

I almost got a little 3-pint crockpot. But I was good! I didn't!

And now, off to start some baking before everyone gets up...
