Tooth

Kitty is going to the vet. She has lost a tooth (a right upper canine) and has an abscess.

She's been grumpy lately but we didn't figure out why. I feel awful about her poor little mouth.

Vet update

Chisa: OMGWTFBBQ, I am NOT going in that box.

Chisa: OMGWTFBBQ, I am NOT coming out of that box.

Vet: Oh how precious. Let's have a look at your tooth now.

Chisa: Uh. No. I will back away slowly.

Vet: I'm sorry, I had to look there. Here, I'll make up by petting your head.

Chisa: I hate you. HAAAAAAAATE.

Raven: She doesn't like her head touched.

Vet: Ah. Well, here, have some more pettin's.

Chisa: Hm. Perhaps I will allow you to serve. Yes. That's very nice. Wall nudging for all!

She does, in fact, have a broken-off tooth. We have antibiotics for her and in a couple of weeks she needs a tooth cleaning and maybe the extraction of the broken bit. We are all home now though.
