Jan. 6th, 2009 02:41 pmSomeone in our apartment complex (River Chase apartments, for the record) called in a noise complaint on us.
At 11am.
For playing music. Music no louder than the vacuum cleaner or dishwasher or shower.
And now we have a violation in our record, after EIGHT YEARS of living here without a problem.
The violation doesn't state that it was at 11am.
We've NEVER called management on the tenants before, except those folks who were grilling on the (wooden) balcony above us, and that was a safety matter.
If they want to write us up, at least they could put "reported by another tenant" and the TIME on it.
I'm now looking at places to live that aren't going to take some new resident's word for it over the people who have faithfully PAID rent every single month for 8 years.
