Chisa update.
Sep. 29th, 2009 11:15 amVet called.
Chisa has a growth under her tongue. It's bigger than expected, so it can't be removed without affecting her ability to eat. If it's a tumor, there's no sense testing it for malignancy; we just watch whether she can still eat and wash, and if she still can, then she's doing okay with it.
We're trying antibiotics for a minor gum infection, because anything we can clear up will help her. However, the main trouble isn't an infection at all.
So, this isn't the end of the road; we're going to bring her home and make her comfortable and enjoy her and let her enjoy us. But the end of the road is in sight.
I've got some squishy food on the counter waiting for her to come home.
