Just some insights on the whole Facebook Connect thing; I'm not gonna tell y'all what to do, but just want to share some info.

I'm pulling this from the LJ news linked here.

You now have the option to go into your LJ settings and link your Facebook name. IF you do that, a world of trouble limitless possibilities awaits. You can have Facebook re-post your public LJ posts, or have it re-post your comments-- including comments on other people's Livejournals. You can even manually select to re-post a comment on a friend's friend-locked journal entry.

On the one hand, it's NOT re-posting other people's journal entries.

But on the other hand, using this feature does post YOUR comment, which may (at worst) quote your friend's words, or (at least) give hints to what your friend's locked entry was about. And Facebook is supposed to be about real names and real locations. Giving out that you, John Smith who lives in Godibo, OK, are LJ-friends with user sue_doh_nym may give away more information about who Sue is than she's really comfortable with.

On the gripping hand, IF you choose to link your Facebook in your LJ settings, you're one click away from cross-posting what you write. One click. One little slip of the tab key.

You can still post a link to your LJ on Facebook manually, or put your LJ address in your FB profile, if you like, and that won't change anything.

And for those wondering? My FB and LJ are two different things. I won't be linking them, and I don't post LJ links (to my own or my friends') on FB.
