With the cooler weather, I'm deciding it might be time to unpack the winter stuff. For y'all who live up north, "winter" to an Okie is really just the secular name for "the weeks between Christmas and the Super Bowl." It doesn't indicate any actual drastic weather change, so you don't need more than a couple of overshirts.
Anyways, for your amusementation or horrification or whichever, I decided to make a list of the clothes as I went through them.
Skivvies:
5 black bras
3 non-black bras (purple, pink, and a green and purple with black leopard spots one)
About a dozen pairs of undies, including the 7 that are all the same style but different colors, three of which say "<3 Coffee," "<3 Weekends," and "You are my sunshine" across the butt.
No, I don't have any with days of the week.
Sweaters, Jackets, and Overshirts:
Blue denim AOL Canada shirt
Gray silk sweater
Gray OU sweatshirt (got it in 1988 from my uncle)
Tan cotton v-neck lace sweater (paid a buck for it on the W-M clearance rack)
Gray chenille zip-up hoodie ($3 at Ross, needed a side seam fixed)
Gray sweatshirt hoodie
Green cowl-neck sweater
Brown shawl-neck cardigan
Green acrylic sweater
Green cotton sweater with 3/4 length sleeves
Tan chenille button-up cardigan
Dresses:
Black velvet zip-up-the-back dress, knee-length

Short-sleeved black synthetic (same stuff) above the knee dress

Black "Back in the day" shirt with Pac-Man
Undershirts:
3 black, 2 green, 1 blue, all tank tops.
Pants: This mostly consists of "jeans that don't fit" and "blue patterned skirt that does/does not fit" so I'm not gonna list these.
The good part is that I'm now down to 14 shirts (half short and half long sleeved) and a couple of sweaters. Ideally, I'd love to have three or maybe four knitted sweaters and that would do it for me. The rest of the shirts will either be made over for the kid, made into a quilt, or given to Goodwill.
