For AIM or other contact methods (gmail, etc). Currently, some services support "delete this username" and others just support "don't use this username anymore."
What would be nice is a way to do like the phone company with forwarding-- mark a name "not to be used ever again" but supply a message. Brief, maybe 300 characters?
"AngelaB: Hi guys, my divorce went final! I'll be at AngelaSingle from now on, and won't be using AngelaB again."
And, you know, the obvious reason to leave a forwarding message and not use something again.
