Here are 5 of my icons that [livejournal.com profile] sebastian_tombs tagged, with my explanation; comment and ask and I'll tag up to 5 of yours and you can tell us about them :D

Ghost is a screenshot I took in WoW; it's the spirit healer that you see when your character dies. While I captioned it as a joke, I do tend to use it for "death" posts, which I've had a lot of this year. :/
"My Type" is an old typewriter daisy wheel in the Courier font. I love serif fonts, I love fixed-width fonts, and I have a very special love for Courier. I use this icon a lot when I'm agreeing with someone.
Pew Pew is one I only use when posting about playing a shadowpriest in WoW. "Just push the pew pew button!" Or, well, I guess anything else that stands back and fires shots. I have that kitty "lasers" icon, too; maybe it's a trend for me.
Desert is one that made me squee. In the New Testament, we have the story of Jesus going into the desert and being tempted by Satan; in the version in the Bible, Jesus beats Satan at every turn and Satan goes away. But in this picture, it almost looks a little less about beating the enemy, and a little more like a good argument between adversaries, if you get my drift? I'm probably a heretic for thinking it, but I like to think that nobody's irredeemable.
Nice Chest is one of my early WoW icons (as you can tell by the crappy picture) and it's my shaman standing behind a treasure chest that she's about to open. It amuses me to use this one for complimentary comments.
