Oh, hey. Is this thing on?
It's been 7 years since I posted last.
Things I now have:
A Masters in Library and Information Studies (MLIS)
A diabetes diagnosis to go with my depression diagnosis
A to-do list item to go get tested for ADHD
Cat-wise:
We had a terrible year with cats dying one after the other, slowly and expensively, but we still have one little old lady Woesie and four rambunctious boy cats under the age of 3. Jack "Checkers" Linsky has taken up the mantle of Best Spotted Cat and is doing a fine job of being a loving affectionate cat, and a terrible job of being well-behaved.
Job-wise:
So I got a job in September as a librarian. It's the best job in the entire world. It is everything my 6-year-old self wanted in a job (air conditioning, stickers, and cool office tools) and I get to help people and be my super enthusiastic cheerful self. I get to design things for people to do and make take-home kits.
Game-wise:
I started playing EverQuest again on a private server that only does the original game and 2 expansions. Because of EQ, I met a bunch of tech-inclined folks who appreciate me and my skills, so by the time I got to grad school, I was already good at presentations and infographics, and it turns out I really like that kind of thing.
