I added this after realizing that I'd listed something from every other part of my life. In some ways, what happens between me and my partners is private, but in others... it's the hearth that warms the house, whether it's seen or not.
bisexuality:
Not that I've actually dated a woman in a decade, but it's still there if I want it. Not sure that I do, actually, but if I leave out being attracted to chicks, then I get the dilemma of figuring out whether I'm still queer (I hope) or straight (technically correct, but laughable).
christianity:
One of the greatest and yet most flawed of the faiths, and one I'm proud to be working within-- not because I hold responsibility for all the stupid things some Christians do, but because I hold the power to speak against them.
fanfiction:
I like the shared-world creativity, the props that hold up characterization and plot, that allow people to paint themselves into a world and share it.
knitting:
There's something transcendent about taking a long string, moving it around with a double-ended pointy tool, and making something three-dimensional and patterned.
paganism:
If there is anything within my personal faith as a Christian that is good and kind, thoughtful and faithful, reasoned and inspired, then I give thanks to God for putting it there-- and to my pagan friends, for showing me what to do with it.
polyfidelity:
For a few brief months, I actually had "enough" people in my life, for the first time ever. Someday I'll have that again.
privacy:
To put a gender-spin on this, why is it that half the websites out there ask for your gender, when they have no reason to need it, simply because they wish to peddle your marketing data? I'm disamused, and tend to flip a coin (or pick "male").
science fiction:
I've loved science fiction since I was a kid reading _Rocket Ship Galileo_ and _David Starr, Space Ranger_.
sweaters:I'm making my first full-sized sweater today. I've got one full sleeve, an inch or so of the body, and the cuff of the second sleeve. In a month or two, I should be done.
