What I did on my summer vacation day off.

I bought a thing to keep my knitting stuff in. On top is a zippered yarn stash bag and part of the vest I'm knitting for my mom.
From the top drawer down:
1. Containers and plastic bags for knitting stuff (zippered bags and the like for transporting projects).
2. Small unfinished projects and yarn.
3. Partial skeins of yarn.
4. Needles and other supplies.
5. Thin yarn such as sock yarn.
6. Some random yarn lying around.
7. The yarn for the projects I'm working on right now (all 3 of them).
I bought some superwash wool for the kid a vest for school. I have about 1" done of one corner. No pics.
I am actually making my mom a vest for Christmas and following the pattern I chose. Like, almost exactly. (Almost. It's me, you know.) It's made in three pieces-- back, and two front pieces. I started the back last night. Here's my progress so far:

And now, off to bed before I become a basket case:
