it's really nice here. sunny. cool outside. there's a farmer's market thingy right down the road.
Ham-and-potato soup tonight. I shall conquer yet another man with my l33t domestic skillz. (thanksphabos for the recipe!)
Also, I would like to note that apparently people in the rest of the world are really tiny. the clearance in the plane was about 1/4" over my head (as in, I felt my hair brushing the roof every time I took a step in the aisle). And there's a really good place indda's stairwell that I'm gonna bonk my head sometime this week.
Shoppings today I think. Yeah. I was going to force him to buy a non-stick stewpot, but apparently he has some Calphalon-alike [ETA: I have been informed that it is REAL CALPHALON kkthx] stuff including the stewpot which will do nicely. (I like Calphalon, but it's NOT DISHWASHER SAFE which is uncool in my book... not that I ever put the dishes in the dishwasher anyways, but I like my housewench to have less work, theoretically.)
Kitty-Kitty has squee'd at me a little, but is still suspicious that I'm a Mad Cat Eating Monster. Investigation proceeds apace. Unfortunately, this standoffishness meant that I had to take up 90% of the bed all by myself last night.
SIGH. Life is hard.
