So, riddle me this.
If it's rude to preach, which means talking about your faith in a persuasive or emotional manner to people not of your faith...
and lots of Christians are being Bad People by stating their religion and then whatever bigoted, wrong, ignorant, or just plain hateful and mean belief they or their church has come up with...
and plenty of the people opposing them are good people, and Christians as well...
but you don't know that they're Christians because they're polite, and it's rude to preach...
then how in God's name is a Christian supposed to say "I'm a Christian, and I totally disagree with your so-called-religiously-backed horseshit" without preaching? How do you say that without getting emotional?
How do you argue that someone's interpretation of the Bible is wrong and hurtful without talking about the Bible? How do you show that not everyone in your religion is bent on hate and hurt and poison, without showing your religion?
I guess I just need to face it, and stop worrying that people will be offended by the mere idea that I'm talking about my faith, and say what needs to be said.
