Vest knitting proceeds apace. Chart written. 2" of progress, more or less. I got a way cool shirt as a present that is a knitted vest, thin, with sewn-on sleeves, collar, and tails like a white dress shirt under it; though I like it, it makes me even more confident that when I make something long enough with short rows so it doesn't ride up in front, it will look awesome.

I estimated that I have 35-40 hours of knitting before this is complete. Now if only I could actually find that 35-40 hours, I'd be great.

The local Church of Christ has two services, 9am and 11am. Of course, the 9am is the with-instruments one. I suppose I'll give it a shot Sunday if I can.

One of our clients sent us each a bottle of wine. Excuse me, "fine wine product." It's blackberry-flavored. Woo-woo! Drinking at work is STILL not okay, unfortunately. :/

This morning might be a drinking and cooking and gaming and knitting morning. I hope it is. I'm really enjoying EQ2 because the load times are perfect for knitting. I also figured out how to knit and tradeskill. Heh.

I've finally decided, after 25 years more or less, that I have a reason to quit biting my nails: the condition of my hands messes with my knitting. My fingers are dry and peeling and cracking on the ends, and I feel stupid doing intensive skin treatment with bitten nails, so I'm going to try taking better care of my hands.

That's all I know for now. I'm going to see if Raven will pick me up some RAM while he's out shopping today, and maybe even put it in. Maybe!

Highs near 70 predicted tomorrow.

I guess there are worse things than living in Oklahoma and never having to shovel snow.

I got the kiddo a couple of things that I will be "helping" her play with: Klutz Lettering book and Klutz Paper Doll Fashions book.

Christmas is sort of melancholy for me, so I'm cutting this for woe. )

I'll be home for Christmas,
You can count on me.
Please have snow, and mistletoe,
And presents under the tree.

Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light beams.
I'll be home for Christmas...

If only in my dreams.
