I've moved my bed with the headboard against the curtains; we're about to see if that's dark enough for me to sleep still. (The window faces south and is 6' square, but it does have light blocking curtains and now, about 1/3 of it is also blocked by solid wood headboard.)
My cunning plan is as follows: leave the small dresser next to the bed for a nightstand. Move the large dresser to the west wall between the closet door and room door.
I have two 6' tall bookshelves to put together, most of which I'm going to fill with my craft things that are up here. Then I next want a tall work table for my sewing machine and whatever else I want to work on, with maybe a couple of shelves wall-mounted above that. I have a few things to frame and put up next to the bed on that empty wall and above the dresser, and then we'll call the room done.
For now.
In the meantime, I have PILES of stuff that have to be sorted through and organized, because it's all in a complete muddle. *sigh*
