We cleared Curator for the first time, by grouping the DPS together, putting one tank (Fine) and Nhinx on Curator itself for mana regen, and DPSing our little hearts out.

We did go ahead and continue further, wiped on Shade, and then decided to try something else, at which point which one of our healers (Mourl) learnt a Very Important Lesson, which is not to move ahead of the tanks and puller. (Complete wipe on that lesson, too.)

As a side note, it's still amazing to me how someone can know (or have addons to tell them) every single boss mob loot, but not bother reading up on the strategy needed to defeat those bosses, or information on how to play their class better. Maybe I'm just annoyed because *every single fight* he has to be told who he's healing, who to use his battle rez on, and he never freakin' learns.

The something else we tried, anyways, was Terestian Illhoof, who we managed to take out. Mender's Heart Ring dropped, at which point Mourl started exclaiming that he wanted it, even while other loot was being rolled on and people were being rezzed. (Yes, in that order. It was late.)

So, after he rolled a 77, and then said that was his roll, so that of course anyone rolling against him (like, um, Lintra, who has been present EVERY WEEK SINCE WE HAVE RUN KARA except one during unavoidable circumstances?) would have to beat that 77.

Lin rolled in the 20's.

I, however, rolled a 79. And won. It's a very pretty ring-- and even prettier because it shines with someone else's tears.
