Ran into an old boyfriend on Facebook. He's still cute and disarmingly funny, and he appears to have outgrown his distressing momma's boy traits. Also, he's local-- he lives maybe 3-4 miles from me now, about twice as far as Warm Fuzzies.
Found my needles and started a hat in very sproingy baby alpaca, with 1x1 ribbing, which I've decided I like. I've also noticed that I've nearly doubled my knitting speed in stockinette, to something like 50 stitches per minute. Whee! And I can knit without having to watch, as long as it's stockinette, which means lots more knitting-and-WoW time. The only bummer is, this hat's going to take at least two balls of yarn, and possibly into a third. Bah!
Speaking of WoW time, the guild ran the first three bosses in Kara (Huntsman, Moroes, Maiden) in preparation for getting further on Sunday morning. We'll see how that works out come Sunday. Also, there was a very direct guild MOTD about showing up early or getting left out. (Hooray!)
Raven's hunter, Charisty, is almost halfway through 69 to 70. This is exciting news for me, as it means an extra person to pull into heroics sometimes.

ravenamore's wedding on Friday, and maybe I'll find some time to go out with that old BF of mine. (He's not actually old. He's 38.) Who knows! I'd better get my socializing in quick, though, because the 10th is when the other overnight guy does his vacation, so I won't get days off that week.
