Inspired by a recent post by
eryn_ about slow-cooking beef, I tossed some stew meat in the crock pot with some garlic and a can of cream of mushroom soup (plus two cans of water) and left it on low most of the day.
Tossed in some noodles in the evening, and when they got soft, discovered that I'd made a rather good imitation of beef stroganoff.
Tasty stuff! Tomorrow, we try chicken, bell peppers, and veggies, and see what happens.
