ETA: HE'S FOUND AND OKAY. He did not get out of the house. He took a RIDE OF TERROR in the laundry chute, which is a 10 foot drop. Yes, the same chute where we found Chisa this morning and taped up the top opening so no more kitties would take a tumble. He had fallen down it last night and somehow we didn't see him at the back of the bin or something? anyways he spent all day there. He's ok, the laundry chute is now secure so no more kitties will go down it.
Engineer Cat got out early this morning, we think, and we can't find him anywhere.
He's very skittish and will only come to us, and that only rarely. He's been very nervous about the new place anyways (foaming at the mouth when we brought him over here, for instance).
I'm sad and worried, but of our three cats he's the most able to survive in the Great Outdoors for a day or two. I don't know when (or if) we'll get him back, but I'll try my hardest to have hope.
I miss the little guy.
