I'm home from the dentist.
Not as bad as expected.
Not great, but gas makes it all tolerable. Less "OH SHIT GONNA DIE NOW" and more "Hm, that hurts. I bet it's over soon."
New teeth look stunning. Have had a milkshake. Teeth were sensitive but not outrageously so; I suspect after this I might be able to have ice cream (or, you know, anything below room temp) without wincing.
Hot food also working quite well. Hooray!
