The plans for today:
Empty out the back seat of the car, and vacuum and wash the car. (It hasn't been washed in, uh, a long time.)
Go to the store for a few things.
Clear out the groceries my dad gave me. My granddad had gone shopping the day before he passed, and his cupboards were full. So I have three or four sacks of groceries set by (some of which may go to the food pantry at church).
My dad tried to encourage me to take more stuff, but I don't really want more things in my house; I struggle enough with the abundance we have.
Him: Well while you're asleep I'll just go out and load more stuff in your car.
Me: I locked the car. And I'm sleeping with the keys under my pillow. Ha!
We'll probably end up keeping the little house stocked for visitors, which means we don't have to worry about doing anything with the furniture or the sheets or towels or whatever, which means it's just about all taken care of.
I don't reckon there's anything else I have to do; I'll get dressed and head for church with the stuff, and that way I can get it there before interviews this morning.
