So I committed a neatness today. I washed my car.
It is now true gray, not browny-gray. (AND SHINY!) The interior seats four, not one and a small child. I'll either vacuum it later tonight, or hit it tomorrow with my folks' shop vac (which is way easier to get to, I think).
Pretty nice for 145k miles, I think!
We'll be heading out in the morning for the funeral and home tomorrow night.
I miss my grandpa, I'm sorry he's gone, but having these few days off has been GREAT for me. It's like crawling out of a pit and seeing that there's more than just the unreachable sky overhead.
I've got some housecleaning done that I've been working on for nearly a year (PRO TIP: Keep a box of garbage bags and trashcan in every room. If you don't have to go get the bag you are more likely to pick up the trash and put it in the bag. If the trash is in a bag you are more likely to take it out).
