I've imported the content from my LJ account to Dreamwidth, and am now posting this entry to both journals (which I'll continue doing for the remainder of the month, at least). I chose not to import comments because I felt that those should belong to the commenters, and they might not appreciate me moving them from one online site to another (where, perhaps, they would not be able to choose to delete them in future)?
By the way, for those who use LJ for their reading list, this is the LJ syndicated feed of my DW.
I had a super-awesome date last night with D. and virtually with Indy (I mean "virtually" as in internet, not as in "almost") including a peanut butter cup milkshake from Braum's.
At work, they've cut our hours a wee bit and started having long lunch breaks (30 minutes, unpaid, instead of 10 minutes, paid) which I really like. The hours cut isn't so great, but actually I'm more grateful for the time than I was for the money. I guess that's some kind of financial milestone, really. I do need to start using my time off to do more cooking and other things that'll save us a bit of cash, so I can continue putting money in savings at the same rate.
We're still in the middle of the kitchen remodel, and the contents of my pantry are in two huge tubs. I'm thinking about having a few "make what you can" episodes, and trying a frittata, and making some Italian rice (it's like Spanish rice, but with spaghetti sauce) with veggies.
