Yesterday I took the kid to see Raiders of the Lost Ark in IMAX.
The last time this movie was in theaters, I was 6 years old. This time around, I paid attention to a lot of the scenery and effects. (For instance, when Indy takes the commercial flight to Nepal-- the plane they used had only one working engine. So that's why you only see one propeller turning.)
It's still an awesome, scary movie. The kid seemed to like it.
Today we're going to see ParaNorman.
But in the meantime, since I got woken up by Kitty Alarm Clock at 2ish, I'm going to get up and go to the store, and buy stinky things (um, I should explain-- family name for potpourri, air freshener, etc) for my room and then clean like mad for a while, and then do something crafty.
I'm pretending that I'm going to work on my afghan, but what I might really do is wind some yarn, and then play with rubber stamps and color for a while.
